PHOENIX, Arizona (WPRI) — The mecca of Super Bowl fun in Phoenix opened to the public on Wednesday.
Super Bowl Central officially opened and the pre-game festivities began as fans from all over the world took their first steps inside the twelve block pedestrian-friendly fan campus.
Central will serve as the hub of activities for fans, sponsors, and media for the days leading up to kickoff on Sunday.
“There is so much going on and the hosts are great,” football fan Betsy Smith said.
The site is expected to attract one million attendees, and security is tight around the entire facility.
The party continues on Thursday with a Legends for Charity dinner, which will honor Joe Buck.
