NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — North Attleboro High School will reopen on Monday after heavy snow caused an exterior wall to buckle on Tuesday.
According to a statement by the school, the wall has been secured and a structural engineer has inspected the building closely. Additional snow was removed from the school’s roof.
The school said that the Town Building Inspector, Rod Palmer, was consulted, and the school has been cleared to reopen on Monday.
The incident happened on the first day of February vacation, while students were not present at the school.
According to the statement, additional checks of all school buildings have also been completed.
