CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) — Emergency crews responded to a Central Falls neighborhood Monday night after a two-car garage caved in under the weight of the snow piled on top.
The roof of the garage at the corner of Cross and Pine Streets collapsed at about 9:30 p.m.
One car was in the garage at the time, and fortunately no one was injured.
The garage which was made up of cinder blocks and bricks collapsed straight to the ground.
Crews on scene said the roof was not shoveled off, and that is believed to be the cause.
