Warwick Police offer safe rides home on St. Patrick’s Day

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Warwick Police are offering to provide designated drivers for anyone who consumes too much alcohol in the city this St. Patrick’s Day.

The “Safe Rides Program” is designed to reduce drunk driving and increase safety on city streets.

Warwick residents can call (401) 468-4200 between 12 p.m. and midnight on St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) to request a free ride home. Citizen volunteers will provide a ride anywhere within city limits.
