CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Two people were taken to the hospital after a house caught fire in Cranston Wednesday night.
The fire started shortly after 10 p.m. at a home on Chestnut Avenue.
Firefighters said two residents were outside the home when they arrived. The residents were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Officials have ruled the fire to be accidental, but the exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
