CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) – Garden City Center in Cranston will soon be getting a new tenant.
New Balance is set to open its doors this fall. This will be the retailer’s first location in Rhode Island.
“The arrival of New Balance’s first and only Rhode Island store to Garden City Center brings a strong brand name with a loyal consumer following,” said Deb DiMeo, vice president of Leasing for The Wilder Companies, which manages Garden City Center. “Garden City is a one stop shopping destination for fitness aficionados.
The 2,380 square-foot store will be situated between Party City and Country Curtains, and will carry footwear, apparel and accessories.
“We are a family-owned New Balance licensee coming from Connecticut and are excited to have our newest location opening in Rhode Island,” said Michael Disibio, Board Certified Pedorthist and owner. “Specializing in fit and service, we look forward to being part of the community supporting runners, walkers, and everything in between.”
Garden City Center is currently home to 60 shops, services, and eateries, including Anthropologie, J. Crew, Sephora,Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, The Container Store, Providence Diamond, b.good, Bistro 22, LA Fitness and Whole Foods Market.
