WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Two New York men were arrested over the weekend on charges they placed a card-reading device on an ATM in Warwick, but more charges are expected to be brought against the suspects.
Moises Morales Cano and Carlos Cineros are accused of stealing approximately $65,000 from more than 100 ATM users at Greenwood Credit Union in Warwick.
At least 30 more charges are expected out of Warwick, and other cities and towns are investigating the case, including Cranston, Coventry, and Smithfield.
Cano, 30, faced a judge Monday and was held on $100,000 bail from Warwick and an additional $30,000 from Johnston.
Cineros, 52, was held on $100,000 with surety.
