Randolph house explosion, fire damages home

RANDOLPH, Mass. (WPRI) — Crews responded to reports of a house explosion to a home in Randolph causing shattered glass to cover the roadway.

Investigators say the flames were being fed by a propane tank on the property.

Crews also had trouble due to a lack of sufficient water pressure.

Police say three people were inside the home when the fire broke out.

One person was taken to an area hospital.

There is no word on the victim’s condition.

Police have not released the identity of the person taken to the hospital.

The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
