PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Officials responded to reports of a tractor-trailer that jackknifed on I-95 South on Wednesday.
Officials said the crash happened around 8:40 a.m. near Exit 25 in Pawtucket.
The crash damaged a concrete barrier. The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said it took crews almost two hours to clean up the mess and reopen the highway.
Troopers say the people inside were wearing their seat belts and walked away from the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
