Bullet strikes house with family of five inside

Police in Freetown are investigating after a bullet hit the outside of a home which traveled to the inside.

FREETOWN, Mass. (WPRI) — Police in Freetown are investigating after a bullet struck a house on Middleboro Road.

Officers were called to the home shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday night. That’s where investigators found a bullet hole in the side of the house.

No one who lives at the home was hurt, but two adults and three children were inside at the time of the incident.

Police said one of the adults was hit by a piece of flying plaster from the wall where the bullet came through.

So far, no arrests have been made.
