BOSTON (WPRI) — MBTA transit police this weekend arrested a Rhode Island man after receiving reports of an assault.

Officers were called to the MBTA’s Back Bay station around 8:35 p.m. Saturday. Upon arrival they said a 22-year-old woman told them a man – later identified as Bradford Bowe, 22, of Cumberland – approached her at the Commuter Rail ticket counter and made several inappropriate comments, that were sexual in nature.

She told officers Bowe then began to dance and gyrate his body. As she walked away, she told officers Bowe indecently assaulted her.

After interviewing the woman and an eyewitness to the incident, police arrested Bowe. He was due in Boston Municipal Court – Central Division Monday for arraignment.
