WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) – Members of the Warwick School Committee meet with parents to once again discuss the consolidation of schools.
Three options were discussed at Wednesday night’s meeting. Two involve closing Gorton and Aldrich Junior High Schools.
One would convert Warwick vets into a middle school for all Warwick students and the second plan would split the students to either Pilgram or Vets High School.
A third, which was introduced for the first time last night, was met with disapproval from the crowd.
The Warwick School Committee is scheduled to discuss these options again Tuesday night.
