Freetown PD seeking vehicle in relation to shooting

FREETOWN, Mass. (WPRI) — Police in Freetown are searching for a vehicle that may be connected to a recent shooting.

According to police, a driver reported that her car had been struck by a bullet on Middleboro Road.

An investigation determined that the car had been hit by gun fire on the same day as shots were reportedly fired into a nearby home.

Both shootings happened at approximately 6:15 p.m. on May 31, police confirmed. No injuries were reported.

Officers said they are currently examining video evidence from the scene, and are asking the public for any information on the blue or gray SUV seen in the recordings.
