NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — A New Bedford woman was arrested Thursday under suspicion of dealing heroin from her apartment.
Members of the Organized Crime Intelligence Bureau executed a search warrant at about 2:30 p.m. at Shanika Fowler’s home on Pleasant Street, according to police.
Investigators seized $268 in cash and 250 grams of heroin, which they said has a street value of about approximately $25,000.
Fowler, 22, was taken into custody without incident. She’s scheduled to be arraigned Friday on a charge of trafficking heroin in excess of 200 grams.
