PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A North Providence man wanted in connection with a pair of homicides in Providence was arrested Monday night in New York City, city police confirmed Tuesday.

According to police, Malcolm Querido was wanted on a warrant charging him with the fatal stabbing of Robert Bullard last September.

Investigators believe Querido stabbed the 38-year-old in a third-floor apartment on Allston Street. Bullard, of Medford, later died at Rhode Island Hospital.

Police also named Malcolm Querido as a person of interest in the death of 40-year-old Kareem Barnes last month. Barnes was found shot to death inside his Camden Avenue home on May 9.
