Health officials reopen Warwick beach to swimming

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — The Rhode Island Department of Health has recommended that Goddard Memorial Park Beach reopen to swimming.

New water samples show the bacteria levels in the water are now within safe limits.

Health officials said they will continue to monitor the water quality there and at all state beaches.

The status of each beach could change on a daily basis, so be sure to keep an eye on our Beach Closures page for updates.
