Brown’s Shulman named Hamptons League All Star

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Rising senior Noah Shulman (Merrick, N.Y.) of the Brown baseball team was selected to play in the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game, the summer league announced on Monday.

The All-Star tilt will feature the top players and pitchers on the East End this summer, with the North squad looking to take its third consecutive Classic when pitted against the South on Wednesday, July 15, at Baseball Heaven (7:15 pm).

Shulman, a member of the Montauk Mustangs, was selected to the South squad as a designated hitter. The New York native has 28 hits and 10 runs scored with the Mustangs during the first half of the season, along with 11 RBI, 12 walks and four doubles.

Shulman is coming off a breakout season for the Bears, when he started all 39 games as the team’s primary second baseman, and led the way with seven home runs and 28 RBI. He also finished with 39 hits, eight doubles and 70 total bases to go along with a .476 slugging percentage.
