ADAMS, Mass. (WWLP) – FBI Special Agent Paul Ambrogio says Alexander Ciccolo (a.k.a. Ali Al Amriki) took delivery of four guns that were supplied to him by a witness who was cooperating with the bureau. Ciccolo allegedly told the cooperating witness that he was planning to attack a college campus, using guns and pressure cooker bombs.

These are the weapons named in Ambrogio’s affidavit:

  • 556 Sig Arms SG550 Rifle – A Swiss-manufactured selective fire rifle, the “SG” in its name is an abbreviation for the German word: Sturmgewehr, which means “assault rifle.”
  • .223 Colt AR-15 Rifle – A semi-automatic rifle that is commonly used by police departments and other law enforcement agencies.
  • 10mm Glock 20 handgun – An automatic pistol that is often used in hunting.
  • 9mm Glock 17 handgun- According to its manufacturer, the Glock 17 is the “most widely used law enforcement pistol worldwide.”

Ambrogio says that in addition to the guns, agents found several partially-made “Molotov cocktails” inside Ciccolo’s Adams apartment. These consisted of shredded Styrofoam soaked in motor oil, which the suspect allegedly chose because the burning material would stick to the victims’ skin.

Ambrogio says when Ciccolo was arrested had a sheath on his belt which contained a 5” knife.

Also in his apartment, FBI agents said they found:

  • Two Machetes
  • One long, curved knife
