Police investigating robbery at Kennedy Plaza CVS

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence police are looking for a suspect after the CVS in Kennedy Plaza was robbed Friday afternoon.

A cashier called police at about 4 p.m., saying that a man approached her and demanded “all the money” in the register.

“Give me all that you have, or you’re going to get hurt,” the suspect said, according to the employee.

Scared for her safety, the cashier handed him $151.50 in a plastic bag and he left the store. Police said the suspect did not show a weapon. Kennedy Plaza CVS robbery suspect Providence

The cashier described the robber as a white male, standing between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9 and wearing a red polo shirt, tan shorts and a blue backpack.

While searching the area, police discovered a discarded red polo shirt on a dumpster in an alleyway near the store.
