Suspect sought in Seekonk burglary spree

SEEKONK, Mass. (WPRI) – A series of four home invasions have taken place in Seekonk in as many days.

According to Seekonk police, two burglaries took place Thursday morning, and two more occurred Sunday.

All of the burglaries took place between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m., and the burglar used windows or open screens to gain access inside the homes.

The four affected homes are located on Cynthia Road, Luther, Watson, and Cole Streets.

The victims reported cell phones, handbags, cash and debit cards were among the stolen items.

Seekonk police have video of a person of interest in these crimes taken from a gas station where one of the victims’ debit cards was used.

The person of interest is a white male with short, dark hair.
