Police arrest two men on weapon, drug charges

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) — Police in Dartmouth were able to arrest two men suspected of selling drugs.

The pair of 22-year-olds, Ejay Pierce and Nathan Cormier, of New Bedford, were arrested upon a search warrant of Pierce’s residence in Dartmouth.

Dartmouth police, with the help of New Bedford police and the South Coast Anti-Crime team, executed a warrant to the home on Slocum Farm Drive.

They recovered a .22-caliber revolver, heroin, suboxone and cash.

Pierce has been charged with possession of a Class A drug with the intent to distribute and possession of a Class B drug.

Cormier has been charged with possession of a firearm without a license to carry, possession of a firearm with two priors, illegal possession of ammunition, and improper storage of a firearm.
