Magazine details latest summer rage of outdoor bars

It’s a beautiful day to get outside and enjoy this short summer season. And, right now in the latest issue of So RI Magazine, readers can learn more about the latest rage: outdoor bars.

Julie Tremaine from So Rhode Island magazine joined The Rhode Show Friday to talk more about the August issue.

Cucumber Cooler
1.5 oz Barr Hill Gin
.75 oz Elderflower Liqueur
3 oz. Club Soda
1 Fresh Lime wedge
2 Cucumber slices

Directions:

In a shaker, muddle lime and cucumbers with the gin to infuse all the flavors. Add ice and top with elderflower liquor. Shake once or twice and add club soda. Pour into a highball glass and garnish with fresh cucumber slices.
