CHARLESTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) — Clean-up from Tuesday morning’s storm is still ongoing at Burlingame State Park, where several campers were hurt by falling tree branches during the wild weather.

The Department of Environmental Management sent out a tweet Thursday asking weekend campers to delay their arrival until after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Crews say they need more time to clean up storm damage in the park and clear the debris.
