Coach Gary Bucci said Monday the boys are just thankful to have made it to Pennsylvania.

“When you’re involved with little league the dream is to get to Williamsport. We’ve at least gotten that step. Winning a game validated us being here,” he said. “[Winning two games] is memorable.”

Meanwhile, a celebration for the Warwick North softball team, who lost in the World Series final, got underway Monday at the Warwick North Little League facility on Post Road.
