In the Kitchen: Cuban Sandwich

Chef Susan Alper from Clean Plate was on The Rhode Show making her Signature Club Sandwich.

Cuban Sandwich (Yields: 2)
2 8” French breads
10 oz. Porchetta- sliced
6 Oz thin sliced ham
1 whole ½ sour pickle sliced lengthwise
6 slices Swiss
Spicy brown mustard
Smoked paprika aioli


Heat Porchetta-
Assemble sandwich-
On bottom half, Smoked paprika aioli

Put in hot pan and press with a weight
Flip after a couple of minutes, and after a couple more minutes cut and enjoy
Smoked Paprika Aioli
1 cup mayo
¼ tsp. Worcestershire
2 tsp. smoked paprika
Juice of ½ a lemon
salt and pepper

Whisk together- keep up to 2 weeks
A roast of marinated pork belly wrapped around a pork loin
Roast about 3-4 hours
