BOSTON (WPRI/AP) — As Tom Brady and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell returned to a federal courtroom in New York City, so did the artist whose now infamous sketch of the Patriots quarterback was mocked on social media.
Jane Rosenberg took heat after drawing a sketch that critics said made the famously handsome player look like an aging cartoon villain.
Outside court afterward, she smiled as she posed with a new drawing that put Brady in a more flattering light, perhaps capturing the more relaxed demeanor he displayed in court during his second trip there.
Rosenberg has told several media outlets having to cover another “Deflategate” hearing was nerve wracking for her.
“It’s a nightmare for me,” Rosenberg told the New York Daily News in an interview published Sunday. “I hope this thing gets settled and is over with.”
Before Monday morning’s hearing, Rosenberg said she practiced sketching Brady.
