Roger Williams Park Zoo begins ‘Master Plan’

Roger Williams Park Zoo is gearing up for the first phase of their 20-year “Master Plan,” which includes a new Rainforest Building.

Executive Director Dr. Jeremy Goodman brought in a porcupine and discussed the changes and progress of the new building.

The bond issue that was approved by voters last November is a good jumpstart for funding for phase 1 of the Master Plan, but the zoo does need the help of people willing to donate for the first phase to be completed.

If you’d like to make a donation or are interested in naming opportunities or corporate sponsorship for the Rainforest Building, contact the Zoo’s Director of Development, Brooke Fairman, at (401) 785-3510 ext. 337.
