In the Kitchen: Sweet and savory crepes

We’re making a turkey pesto savory crepe with arugula & mozzarella cheese and “Anthony’s Berry Good sweet crepe” with Leslie Albuquerque from La Creperie.

Pesto recipe:

2 cups fresh basil
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup pine nuts
salt & pepper
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Using a food processor, combine the first 3 ingredients and pulse until coarsely chopped.  Add 1/2 cup of olive oil and blend until smooth. Season with salt & pepper.  Stir in the parmesan cheese.
