Police ID victims of Providence triple stabbing

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police in Providence have identified the victims of a violent stabbing that occurred earlier in the week, the department announced Friday.

According to police, 34-year-old David Allison is accused of stabbing three of his neighbors Tuesday night, killing one.

Police identified the deceased victim as 24-year-old Elba Feliciano. According to police, her death marks the 11th homicide of 2015.

The other victims, identified by police as 26-year-old Maria Feliciano and 29-year-old Adrianna Figuroa, were taken to Rhode Island Hospital. Their conditions are currently unknown.

Maria and Elba were sisters, according to police.

Police said Allison was also injured during the altercation, when one of the women stabbed him while trying to defend herself. He has since been released from the hospital.

Friends of Allison said he is a good man who is always fun and outgoing

“I grew up with him. I’ve known him since he was 15. He’s a great guy. He got my son into college,” said Joanne Fournier. “He’s always been there for me, and I have nothing bad to say about the guy. I can’t believe that this happened.”

Allison is now awaiting his murder arraignment.
