Bristol named a top leaf peeping destination

BRISTOL, R.I. (WPRI) — It’s not officially fall yet, but already the leaves have been changing over the last couple of weeks.

Leaf peeping has turned into one of the most popular activities during the autumn season, and New England has some of the best foliage around.

In fact, TripAdvisor has named their “23 Places To See The Best Foliage Right Out Your Window,” and Bristol, Rhode Island has made the list.

According to the website, the peak peeping period for Bristol is during the first week of October.

TripAdvisor also offered a piece of advice. “Wherever you go, don’t just see the fall foliage. Be surrounded by it.”
