PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Opening night of the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular has been postponed due to the weather forecast.
The annual display at Roger Williams Park Zoo was supposed to open Thursday, Oct. 1. However, another round of heavy wind and rain is expected Thursday into Friday, so organizers have pushed back the first night to Saturday, Oct. 3.

The event runs every night through Nov. 1, with admission opening at 6 p.m. and the trail opening at dusk. The trail closes at 11 p.m. Sunday through Friday, with last admission at 10 p.m. On Saturdays, the last admission is 11 p.m. with the trail closing at 12 a.m.
