2 arrested in New Bedford cocaine bust

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — Two men are facing charges following a drug raid in New Bedford.

Police say they seized more than a pound of cocaine and $241 in cash from a garage stall on County Street Tuesday afternoon.

Now 44-year-old Julio Rivera-Quiles and 41-year-old Jaime Torres, both of New Bedford, are charged with cocaine trafficking and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws.
