PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The remnants of Hurricane Patricia are bringing some nasty weather to Southern New England Thursday morning. A Coastal Flood Advisory in effect until noon.
The heaviest rain ended Thursday morning for Rhode Island, Fall River and New Bedford.
There’s still a potential for street flooding as the rain and wind knock down leaves, which could clog storm drains.
Departments of Public Works crews were seen out in flood-prone areas of Providence and Cranston Wednesday, working to clear storm drains of debris.

Operators for the Block Island Ferry said they’re monitoring the weather for Thursday, and will make a decision on the ferry schedule no later than 5:45 a.m. Thursday.
