Man sentenced for pair of bank robberies

FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (WPRI) – A Fairhaven man has been sentenced for robbing a pair of banks.

41 year-old Timothy Aadland pleaded guilty this week to two counts of unarmed robbery for the 2013 hold-ups of a Bank Five in Fairhaven and Fall River. He also pleaded guilty to receiving a stolen motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle to endanger.

Aadland was sentenced to serve between seven and twelve and a half years in prison.
