FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) – New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took time out of his busy weekend to grant a wish to a young man fighting leukemia.

Gabriel Alialian, 6, was diagnosed with cancer Nov. 3 of last year. The day is also known as “Gabriel’s Day of Kindness”, by Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Alialian was so grateful to Brady that he gave the NFL star a thank you card, with $10 in it.

In return, Brady hugged little Gabriel and kept the money because he said he could tell it was important to the boy.

Brady also gave Gabriel a signed jersey and football.
