PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A man was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after a crash in Providence left his car on its side.

The two vehicles collided at about 2:30 p.m. on Broadway.

According to an eyewitness on scene, it appeared as though the car that rolled was not speeding, but rather traveling about 25 miles per hour.

The driver told the eyewitness he thought he had passed out, possibly from a medical condition.

Eyewitness News has calls out for more information.

City police were on Broadway earlier in the day, investigating a fatal hit-and-run that took place Sunday night.
