PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gas prices in Rhode Island have risen slightly to an average $2.14 per gallon for regular.
That’s according to a weekly survey out Monday by AAA Northeast, which says the average price rose a penny from last week.
A year ago at this time, the price was 37 percent higher, at $2.93, or 79 cents more per gallon.

The price is 10 cents more than the national average of $2.04 per gallon.
