PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Emergency crews were called to assist a teenager who suffered stab wounds on Friday.
According to Providence police, a 16-year-old was found stabbed near 204 Hartford Avenue just before 6:30 p.m.
Officials said the teen was found with three stab wounds and was taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the suspect ran from the area on foot. The teen told police he was stabbed by a man wearing a hoodie who followed him out of a store.
