PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A man accused of a brutal summer home invasion in Providence faces a slew of criminal charges.
31-year-old Sandry Russell was arraigned in Providence Superior court Friday morning.
Police said he broke into a Providence home in back July 2014, armed with a hand gun.
He then shot a person inside and killed a pit bull before stealing marijuana and cash.
Russel is already serving a prison sentence for a previous home invasion attempt, which he plead guilty to back in October.
