CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) — The Central Falls Police Department has announced they are looking to hire more police officers.
In order to apply for training, candidates must be at least 18 and a U.S. citizen; have a valid driver’s license; have graduated from high school or have a GED; and have at least 60 college credits or a completed enlistment period in the U.S. Armed Forces, with an honorable discharge, or have a minimum of one year full-time service in law enforcement.
If selected, applicants will attend the Rhode Island Municipal Police Academy, which begins July 11.
The written exam takes place before that on March 26, following physical agility and swim tests on April 10.
Completed applications must be received by March 7.
