Friars hockey falls to #4 in latest polls

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men’s hockey team fell to No. 4 in the most recent polls released on Monday (Jan. 25) after a split with No. 8/9 UMass Lowell over the weekend.

The Friars continue their streak of consecutive weeks ranked in the USCHO.com poll, running that total up to 78 straight weeks. They have also been slotted in the top-five for 14 consecutive weeks this season and currently sit fourth in the PairWise rankings.

Up next for the Friars is a home doubleheader against the New Hampshire Wildcats beginning on Friday night at Schneider Arena.
