Q&A: Political analyst recaps State of the State

(WPRI/AP) — Governor Gina Raimondo has unveiled a nearly $9 billion spending plan for the upcoming fiscal year that includes increases in education funding and new initiatives to draw high-paying jobs to the state.

The Democratic governor released the $8.96 billion budget proposal to lawmakers last night, before delivering her State of the State address, which focused on jobs and jobs skills.
