EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Eyewitness News announced Wednesday reporter Susan Campbell will take on the role of Call 12 for Action Reporter and Target 12 Consumer Investigation.
The promotion is effective immediately, according to Karen Rezendes, News Director of WPRI/WNAC.
“With Susan leading the Call 12 for Action Team, we’re looking forward to building on our strong tradition of investigating consumer complaints, getting answers, solving problems, and alerting our viewers to important issues that could impact their safety or their wallets,” Rezendes said.
Susan joined the Eyewitness News team in December of 2011. Previously, she was a health reporter and general assignment reporter at WFMJ in Youngstown, Ohio. Prior to that, she was a reporter and producer at WKTV in Utica, New York.
“Susan is a trusted, experienced, and accomplished reporter, a dedicated member of our news team, and committed to our news brand,” says Patrick Wholey, President & General Manager of WPRI 12, Fox Providence, and myRITV. “She’s eager to take on this new challenge and to be a voice for our viewers.”
Susan graduated cum laude from Syracuse University with Bachelor’s degrees in Broadcast Journalism, Political Science, and Spanish.
