Are you a morning person or a night owl? The answer may be written in your DNA.
A study that analyzed the DNA of self-professed ‘nights owls’ and ‘early birds’ found that people who like to rise early tend to be thinner than those who go to bed later. They are also less prone to depression and less likely to suffer from insomnia.
Women and older adults were more likely to be morning types than the under-30s. The analysis revealed 15 genes are linked to your body clock.
