PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The longest serving member of the nation’s highest court has died.
The U.S. Marshal’s Service in Washington confirmed the death of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia Saturday. He died at a private residence in the Big Bend area of South Texas. News outlets in Texas reported that Scalia had been quail hunting on Friday.
Will Wray, Jr., founder of the Rhode Island Federalist Society joined Eyewitness News on Saturday to discuss the passing of Scalia.
