Chef Mike Cerrone and Owner Katie Cerrone of KC’s Classic Burger Bar joined The Rhode Show Wednesday to show us how to make their Not Your Granny’s Cadillac Burger.
Grass-Fed Beef Patty
Burger Seasoning (Salt, Sugar, blend of spices)
Sliced Granny Smith Apple
Homemade Bacon Jam- 1 cup of balsamic vinegar, 1 chopped onion, 10 cooked bacon slices, brown sugar
1) Simmer chopped bacon and onions, brown sugar and balsamic vinegar. reduce to jelly consistency.
2) Season Hand Formed burger patty and cook for 6 minutes on each side.
3) Cook bacon until crispy and melt cheese on burger.
4) Butter and grill potato roll: layer bottom bun with spinach and sliced apple. Add burger, bacon and bacon jam and top bun.
