PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – The City of Providence announced on Wednesday that it’s expanding PVD Fest this summer.
The second annual event, formerly known as the International Arts Festival, will be held June 2-5.
Last year’s widely praised event featured 500 artists, 30 public art installations, and fifteen stages along with outdoor bars.
Organizers say it’s the signature art festival in Rhode Island and this year will be even bigger and better.
Thousands of people are expected to come downtown to enjoy the festivities that will be anchored around City Hall, Burnside Park and Washington St.
