Pawtucket police seek armed bank robbery suspect

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Pawtucket police are hoping surveillance images will help them track down a man who robbed a bank Monday morning at gunpoint.

Police said a man entered the Citizens Bank on East Avenue shortly after 10 a.m., pointed a gun at the tellers, and demanded money.

Police described the suspect as:

  • White Man
  • Late 30s to early 40s
  • About 6’0″ to 6’2″ tall
  • Wearing a tan jacket, dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and matching light-blue fleece scarf and hat
