Police find car involved in Providence hit-and-run

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence police continue to investigate after two children were struck by a car in the city Tuesday afternoon.

On Wednesday, police revealed they’ve tracked down the car that took off from the scene.

A 12-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl were taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital with injuries after they were hit while riding bicycles on Roanoke Street, according to police.

At last check, both were in stable condition.

So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
