Police examining missing woman’s computer

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) — Investigators are hoping the computer and cell phone records of a missing student can help them piece together what she was doing in the days before she vanished.

Alicia Storti, 21, was last seen around midnight on April 14 in South Kingstown. Police said she left on foot with nothing but her cell phone, which has been turned off.

According to our news partners at The Providence Journal, South Kingstown police want court authorization to search Storti’s cell phone records. Meanwhile, investigators are examining her computer.

Police said Storti is 5-foot-2 and weighs about 102 pounds. She is described as having straight brown shoulder-length hair, brown eyes and fair skin.

At this time, there is no clothing description available.

Family, friends and volunteers turned out Monday to search for her in the area of Arcadia Beach Pond in Exeter – but as the day came to a close, there were still no new developments.

A Facebook page has been set up to offer updates on the search.

Anyone with information about Storti’s whereabouts should contact South Kingstown police immediately at (401) 783-3321.

Right now, there is not any sign of foul play, police said.
